Shipping policy

At RL Sports Cards, we take great care to ensure your order reaches you safely and securely, whether you choose instore pickup or shipping. Please review our fulfillment and shipping policy before placing your order.

Order Processing:

  • Orders may take 1-2 business days to process before they are ready for pick-up in-store or shipment.
  • Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email notification to confirm that your order is either ready for pick-up at our store or that it’s on its way.
  • Pre-orders will be fulfilled on or after the release date. Please note that release dates are determined by the manufacturers and are subject to change without notice. 

In-Store Pickup:

  • You may choose to pick up your order at our store, free of charge.  Our store is located at: 645 S. State College Blvd., Unit B, Fullerton, CA 92831
  • Important: Please wait until you have received a pick-up notification email before coming to the store.
  • Orders can only be picked up by the customer listed on the order. When picking up your order, please ensure you bring the following:
    • Order confirmation email
    • A valid government-issued photo ID
    • The credit card used for payment

Shipping:

  • We currently ship within the United States only.
  • Customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout.  
  • All items in an order ship together in one shipment. Orders containing both preorder and instock items will ship once the preorder items are ready.
  • Orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground, with typical transit times of 2–7 business days, depending on your location.

FlatRate Shipping

Flat‑rate shipping applies to most orders:

  • California addresses: $10 flat rate. For sealed cases or over-sized items , $20 flat rate applies.
  • Addresses outside California: $20 flat rate. For sealed cases or over-sized items, $40 flat rate applies.

Large or MultiBox Orders

Orders containing an unusually high number of items, oversized products, or shipments requiring multiple boxes may incur additional shipping charges. If this applies, we will contact you before processing your order to review and confirm any additional costs.

Signature Required for Orders Over $500

To ensure secure delivery of highvalue items, all orders totaling $500 or more will require a signature upon delivery.

Return to Sender Policy

If an order is returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or any other reason, the customer is responsible for all reshipment and handling costs. We do not offer refunds for returned-to-sender situations. To have your order reshipped, you must:

  1. Contact us at info@rlsportscards.com within 7 days of the package being returned to us
  2. Provide a corrected or verified shipping address
  3. Pay the full reshipment fee plus a $10 handling fee

Orders not claimed within 30 days of being returned to sender will be restocked, and no refund or store credit will be issued.

Lost Packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors, building management, or other household members who may have accepted the delivery. If you still cannot locate your package, contact us at info@rlsportscards.com within 48 hours of the delivery date shown in tracking.

For packages that show no movement in tracking for 7 business days, or are marked as lost by the carrier, please contact us immediately. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and investigate. Please note that carrier investigations can take 7-14 business days to complete. Once a package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will either reship your order or issue a refund as store credit.

Shipping Delays

While we strive to ship orders promptly, delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. RL Sports Cards is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carrier delays or service disruptions
  • Weather events, natural disasters, or other acts of nature
  • Peak season volume (holidays, major product releases)
  • Customs delays (if applicable)
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery attempts when the recipient is unavailable

Shipping Damages

We take great care in packing and shipping your order. However, once your package is with the carrier, we are not responsible for damages that occur during transit. 

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@rlsportscards.com with: 

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item(s)
  • Photos of the shipping box (all sides)
  • The shipping label
  • Internal packaging 

While we are not liable for shipping damages, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier and support you through the process.
